The "Pig Ceremony" and Engagement Dinner was on Saturday, March 18, 2006.  Roast suckling pig along with traditional Chinese Wedding Pastries were available at the Bride's home in the afternoon and dinner began at 6:30pm at Fisherman's Terrace Seafood Restaurant.

The restaurant, located in the newly reconstructed Aberdeen Centre, provides views of RIchmond through its coloured glass windows - resembling those of a lantern.  The Centre was designed by the world-renowned architect Bing Thom.
